Día de los Muertos: Recuerdos Electrónicos

Curated by Tere Romo, “Recuerdos Electrónicos” featured ofrendas (altars) by artists working in electronic media. This "electronic” Day of the Dead explored ways in which high technology can re-interpret ancient traditions. The exhibition was supplemented by "Ventanas para los Muertos,” a collaborative project with 24th Street merchants developed by the ReGeneration Program, as well as guided school tours, artisan demonstrations, and Galería’s annual neighborhood celebration.
