DIGITAL MURAL PROJECT by Galeria's Youth Media Project
5/19/2008 - 6/30/2008 | Students of Galeria's Spring 07' Youth Media Project created a digital collage of images inspired by the 24th and Bryant Street Corridor. References to the war in Iraq, local gang injunctions, and Galería's constant battle with taggers were all incorparated into the mural. Participants in the billboard project were Jorge Avila, Victor Chan, Rondy Gaynor, Billy Morales and Gavin Yee. Julio C. Morales and John Leaños were the lead artists. |
