As part of the Picturing Immigration series Jaime Mendoza designed Immigration: The New Black. Created as a statement on the heated immigration debate, the public mural ran in conjunction with No Distance is More Awesome. The public response to the mural was extremely significant causing the image to change on a weekly basis through a variety of graffitti incidents.
