Catalina Rodríguez
Born 1972 in Bogotá.
1998 Bachelor of Fine Arts of the University de los Andes in Bogotá.
Worked as an art history and a photography teacher. Currently working as an assistant at the Fine Arts Department of the City of Bogotá's Institute of Culture, as well as a video artist.
Group exhibitions: "Fragments of a love video" (Bogotá Academy of the Arts, 2001), "Mail project" (La Habanna Biennale, Cuba, 2000), "Women in the director's chair Festival" (Chicago, 1999) and "Last round" (Santa Fe Gallery, Bogotá, 1998).
Solo exhibitions: "Ready to show" (Casa Wiedemann cultural center, Bogotá).
2000 first prize in the "filminute" national competition (Ministry of Culture of Colombia). | |
