Lucia Grossberger-Morales

Lucia Grossberger-Morales is an artist and cultural worker whose work in new media deals with cross-cultural issues and the experience of being an immigrant and a woman. Grossberger-Morales bought her first computer in 1979, after dreaming about a magical black box that could project light and images into the sky. She developed one of the first paint programs for the Apple II, which was distributed by Apple Computer, Inc., in 1981. Her interactive pieces and CD-ROMs have been shown at museums, film and video shows, rock concerts, performances and galleries in the United States and Europe.
