Lunada: Literary Lounge

Sunday, May 16, 2021 | 6:00 pm

We are excited to announce that Lunada will be returning for 2021!
This first Virtual Literary Lounge of the season will be held on Sunday, March 28! To kick off the season, we will be hosting a very special edition of Lunada featuring work that is in participation with our ongoing campaign, Caravan For The Children.
Last month we asked for literary submissions from the community of work that was informed by the ongoing issue of migrant children being held in ICE custody at the U.S./Mexico border. We will soon be announcing the chosen artists that will be participating in this Lunada alongside Lead Campaign Artist, Paola de la Calle.
Stay tuned for more info on this event and join us under the full moon!

Lunada Literary Lounge is a monthly bilingual literary ritual & performance gathering devoted to spoken word, música, song, and story held on the full moon. Now hosted in a virtual space, Lunada is guest curated by dynamic literary artists featuring national and local community poets, artists, performers, and legends of the written word.
