Welcome Party for Tere Romo + Farewell to La Llorona

Friday, April 15, 2011 | 6:00 pm

Cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and getting out of tax hell mayhem

Galeria de la Raza is happy to welcome Tere Romo back to San Francisco in her new position as Program Officer for Arts and Culture at the San Francisco Foundation. Formerly the curator of The Mexican Museum, Tere is an invaluable force in the arts community. Join us to help welcome Tere with a festive mixer.

Also, don’t miss the last days of “La Llorona: Stories to (Re)Tell to Little Girls” now on view. The exhibition has garnered critical acclaim (read the reviews in SFBG and Art Practical), and Galeria is throwing this closing party with lead artist Ana Teresa Fernandez to celebrate the show.

Commemorative exhibition postcards and Ana’s 40th anniversary portfolio print will be available, as well as a silent auction.
