 Sugar Skull Making Workshops
Learn how to make sugar skulls for Day of the Dead! Classes by Michele Simons
Tuesday, October 13, 2009 - Saturday, October 17, 2009In these two hour workshop you will be taken through the sugar skull making process step by step and then create your very own sugar skull art.
These will be fun and festive events with music and traditional holiday snacks.
With the materials provided you will be able to decorate sugar skulls in a traditional manner or get really creative. (Because the prep process requires many hours each participant will receive pre-assembled blank sugar skulls; either 2 medium size or 1 XL to decorate.)
Dates: Tues. October 13th 7pm to 9pm (ages 10+) Wed. October 14th 7pm to 9pm (ages 21+, see below) Sat. October 17th 1pm to 3pm (ages 10+)

It's that time of year again...come join the party and learn how to make sugar skulls for Day of the Dead!
The evening will begin with a demonstration that will take you through the sugar skull making process step by step. After your quick tutorial, you will receive two pre-assembled sugar skulls to decorate and take home with you. In a fun and festive atmosphere, you will be able to create your own sugar skull art with all materials provided. Dress them up with flowers, feathers, sequins, foil, glitter candy and colorful icing. You can even bring small items of your own to add a personal touch.
Create a special sugar skull to honor a loved one or thrill a friend!
We will provide all materials, snacks, music and libations.

Additional workshops will take place Tuesday October 13th 7-9pm and Saturday October 17th 1-3pm with kids age 10+ welcome.Workshop enrollment fee is 25.00 which includes a 10.00 materials fee.
